  6. “Can you change your Mono County court appearance for a traffic citation or infraction citation or misdemeanor violation to another county where you live?”  Under California law, the Superior Court for the county where a criminal violation or infraction occurs has jurisdiction and cannot transfer that jurisdiction to another Superior Court in another County.  That means you cannot change your Mono County Superior Court appearance to any other county Superior Court.
